Brand Design, Packaging & WEbsite Design

Founded in 1970, the Decorté range of cosmetics and skincare is the culmination of 50 years of meticulous research. Collaborating with Nobel Prize-winning scientists, Decorté offers advanced, prestige skincare and a luxurious experience with radiant, lasting results. Parent company KOSÉ Cosmetics is the second largest beauty company in Japan, listed on the Tokyo stock exchange.

Decorté uses only the finest ingredients in their products, having collaborated with some of the most iconic beauties in the world, such as Ingrid Bergman, Grace Kelly, Chiara Mastroianni, Carolyn Murphy, and Bridgit Hall. When it came time to find the new brand ambassador, we landed on the elegance and timelessness of Kate Moss, shot by Mario Testino. The result was an iconic new look for a powerhouse beauty brand, fully aligned to compete on the global beauty stage.

With distribution throughout Asia and Europe, Decorté wished to reach the American market. Trips to Japan helped us determine what was working for the brand there; our main task was to help the brand emerge in the United States. At the time of our introduction, the brand name was Cosme de Corté. We suggested shortening it to Decorté to craft an entirely new identity: logo, typographical system and color palette, collaborating with the internal team to refresh the packaging and enliven the look at the beauty counter.
