Born in 1932 in Antwerp, Belgium, the diamond capital of the world for more than 500 years, Henri Daussi learned the art of diamond cutting from his father, passing down generations of wisdom and craft. Daussi was an innovator holding many patents, and introducing diamond cuts that are still on the market today. 

In New York City, the Henri Daussi company asked us to freshen up their marketing efforts, breaking with their traditional heritage brandings. Together we decided on a short film to contemporize and romanticize the engagement process, but from the male consumer’s point of view. 

 
 
 
 

Our script focuses on the anticipation and nervousness the groom feels; his life flashing before his eyes as he mounts the stairs to his future bride. We created three different film lengths: one minute, thirty seconds and fifteen seconds, to be used in different advertising formats 

The beautiful cinematography, rhythmic editing and custom musical score by acclaimed composer Gil Talmi heightens the mood to a fever pitch. To conclude this heartfelt experience, we created the closing tagline: “Henri Daussi, the only one.” The short films have garnered over 2 millions of views on Youtube alone and remain a cornerstone of the Daussi brand.
