Renowned for creating bespoke jewelry and high art, Todd Reed is an award-winning artist and jeweler who intentionally challenges established concepts of high design in jewelry. His work is hand-forged in his Boulder, Colorado studio, using the finest materials and ethically sourced, conflict-free stones. Todd’s jewelry adorns celebrities, royals, politicians and is collected worldwide. We were honored to develop branding, packaging, display, advertising, brand films and an e-commerce website for this talented artist.

An ever-changing creative powerhouse, Todd himself is inspired by nature, the turning of the seasons and the potency of the rugged landscape with which he’s surrounded. To speak to his personal process and creativity, we created a second brand film, showing Todd in his home environment, highlighting the evolution of his creativity, his love of the outdoors and his overall aesthetic.

The jewelry is effectively a collaboration between Todd and the highly skilled artisans with whom he works. Rather than creating products along an assembly line, with each laborer doing only one specific task, Todd’s jewelers create each piece one at a time, by hand, from idea to final piece.

This unique ongoing collaboration between Todd and his jewelers inspired us to create the Forged As One film. Tracking the journey from Todd’s original sketch to inspection and completion, this film is an homage to a truly artful process. To further honor this collaborative environment, we designed an engraving monogram signature for Todd as well as each of his 21 jewelers. After inspection approval, the jewelry is stamped both with Todd’s monogram and the artisan’s monogram, bringing the two signatures together, forged as one.

We also created advertising campaigns, this one depicting Todd’s jewelry emerging from crystals and rock formations, illustrative of the way in which his work cultivates a connection to, and an earnest honoring of, Nature.
